I am planning to visit 2 parks in one day. I do not drive, can anyone advise the quickest way to travel between the parks:

1. from HS to AK
2. the approx travelling time
3. and then from AK back to HS in the evening for the Fantasmic
5. from Epcot to MK
6. I will be staying in Pop Century, what time should I get to the resort bus stop in order to arrive the park (HS and Epcot) before the rope drop

Thanks

There is a direct bus from/to HS and AK. Perhaps those who know exactly where this bus stop is will reply.

Epcot to MK is easy. Use the monorail. You'll need to exit the monorail at the Transportation/Ticket Center and get on the MK monorail. Or, if you have the time, you can take the ferry over to MK from the TTC.

Travel time will just depend on how long you have to wait for the bus/monorail, but I would allow about an hour each way just to be safe.

You will also want to be at the resort bus stop 45 min-1 hour before rope drop to get to the park on time.

1. There's a bus.
2. About 45 minutes, maybe an hour.
3. Take the bus. You should be headed to the bus 2 hours before fantasmic starts.
4. What happened to 4?
5. Take the monorail. You'll need to change monorails when you get to the TTC. Allow an hour travel time.
6. 1 hour.

Only being about 7 hours away from WDW makes it easier to drive from home, so we usually use our car to drive around to the parks. The only exception is when traveling between MK and EP or EP and HS, where we like to take the monorail or the boats.

But AK is so far from everything else, that it's so easier for us to drive there. However, if you flew in and don't have a car, then I can't help you!

Overall Info for all parks-

There is "direct" transportation between all the WDW theme parks.

Most routes are via Disney Buses.

Here are the "park-to-park" Disney Transportation direct connections:

>Note: The MK bus connections arrive and depart only at TTC.<

MK/TTC> Epcot = Monorail
MK/TTC> DHS = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus

AK> DHS= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus

DHS> TTC/MK= Bus
DHS> AK= Direct Bus
DHS> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus
Epcot> DHS= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
......Boats ("Friendships") make 3 interim stops at the Epcot area resorts.)

The buses have their destinations shown on them on illuminated signs.
The bus stops at the parks are also marked with signage.

As a rule-of-thumb, allow 40-60 minutes to get from the gates of one park to the gates of another park.

Think happy thoughts; sprinkle yourself with the right kind of Pixie Dust; say "I can Fly".

This is awesome information!! Thanks so much. Are the bus stops at the same place as the resort buses? I am speaking specifically about the bus at EPCOT front gate that goes to DHS?

Also, do a quick Google search for "Our Laughing Place." Under their WDW section is a travel-time calculator that tells you different options (bus/boat/monorail) and length of time. It's also available as an app for us OCD people.;)

All the buses will be in (roughly) the same general area at DHS, DAK and Epcot.
(MK park-to-park buses will be at TTC. Resort buses are near the MK gates.)

Just look at the signage as to which buses dock where.

Caution:
That calculator (both versions) has some really bad flaws.
Inaccurate timings.
And, some inaccurate connections
via bus routes that don't exist.

Awesome information, we usually go back to our resort mid-day, but the first day might be a straight from MK to DHS due to our early F! Dining package. How do you get from MK to the TTC - is it walking or do you need to take the monorail?

Thanks
