My family of 4 (hubby, me, sons 7 and 4) are heading to the parks in February and we are hoping to get from LAX to Disneyland as quickly as possible! Does anyone have a reasonable, quick van/car/limo service company to recommend?

Thanks so much!

I don't know if they are the quickest, but I found Karmel Shuttle to be reasonable and as quick as traffic would allow. Both ways we were the only passengers. I know they don't "cruise" for additional passengers. It is by reservation only.

I think the fastest way is a private shuttle or a taxi/limo so there are no other stops. Of course depending on when you arrive, traffic might be an issue the driver of any vehicle will be able to do little about!

Last few times we've gone from LAX to Disney we've used Super Shuttle. I think we may have gotten lucky our last two times but we've made the trip in 45 minutes and there is usually only one or two other groups in the shuttle. Even if you're not the first group to be dropped off, it will still not take that much longer. However, the travel time is really traffic and therefore time dependent as well. We've arrived late at night the last two trips and there has been limited traffic but if you are in rush hour, the trip would definitely take over 1.5 hours no matter what your mode of transportation.

I personally like Karmel.

As was mentioned, they don't troll the airport like other shuttle companies do.

They also are part of a company where you can report back to if there's an issue. (Unlike the random shuttle we got into last week around this time at John Wayne airport...shuddering at the memory!)

About 3 weeks ago I used Lansky for the first time. I was impressed with their service and the promptness of their driver. We made it from LAX to our hotel (Best Western Stovall's Inn) in about 35-40minutes. Traffic was very light even though it was the middle of the day. If I didn't need to rent a car I would hire their services again.

I booked Sunny's Limo for my husband and DD. The arrived on a Friday in August at 5:30. Using back roads, they were there in about 45 minutes. I couldn't believe it.

What are the costs for Karmel? what about town cars prices?

we have used Lansky for several of our past trips and it has been a great experience every time! they will provide booster seats for the kids so you don't have to bring your own and you can do a quick stop at a grocery store to pick up any drinks or snacks you may need, nice way to avoid paying park prices for pop or water!

We paid $90 for Lansky's and $80 for the return trip when booking both segments together. Nice town car, driver meets you at baggage.

We also used Lansky! I used PayPal to pay which was great as I sold something on eBay which then, in turn, paid for the ride!
Service was great-nice and clean car. Small bottles of water for everyone. Driver dressed nicely. Both times driver was early for pick up. We were going from a private address just south of LAX to DL, then back to private address (visiting relatives).
