Ok, how hard is it to give someone your name and the names of 3 other people who will be golfing with you!!!

We are having a golf outing on Monday, and it's been like pulling teeth to get people to give me their information. We are doing really nice hard plastic name tags for the event, and will not be dragging the machine that produces them to the golf course!

Not only do they not give me the names, when they do, they don't know how to spell the name or they are not sure of the company they are with! Hello - your're golfing with them!!!

Does anyone know the common way to spell Jared?

I can beat that.

I'm a travel agent, and you'd be surprised at how many people don't really know their OWN names. We stress that the travel documents need to be in the name on their ID (preferably their passport).

I have, on more than one occasion, had to try and modify a name because someone didn't realize that the name on their ID was different that the name they commonly go by.

I hear ya. I'm a visiting nurse. Do you know how many people don't know where they live? I do! ALOT! Sorry for you though, hope the outing goes OK

I've got the same problem! I work in a casino and getting people's names are tough! Especially when I have to tell them they are being reported to the IRS!
