Thanks to all who gave me advice on this site.
We rented the car from Priceline. Needed to add a day and it was 35.00. Overall still cheaper than renting through a company.

We arrived on 06/09 and went to Hollywood. I was truly disappointed in the 3 blocks. From what you see on TV I expected a lot more glamour or something.

We did Rainforest Cafe for dinner, not bad, good ambiance, get the coupons on this site.

We stayed at the Park Vue, I really liked it. The location was great! and the room was larger than I thought it would be. The only thing is there is no elevator to the second floor, which was hard on my MOM. If you want to be close to that park Park Vue is great.

Which brings up something I didn't know until about halfway through our day at Disneyland. If you are in a wheelchair or electric scooter, you can go through the exit cue on all the rides with no cue line. For your whole party! Basically they put you at the front of the line. This saved us a lot of time! The scooters do cost $50.00 to rent.

We did the "Give a day get a day" so we had a free ticket. Easy to get. We thought we were late, the park was open 8-8 due to grad night. We got to the ticket window about 7:30 with no lines. Could have been due to grad night and the June gloom.

First we went to Indiana Jones wasn't open yet, next Splash Mtn to get a FP. The time was 10 minutes away so we went to Space mtn rode it, got a FP for Space Mtn. Then when we were able FP for Indian Jones. We used the FP system very well. We held on to our FP until later in the day. After we used our FP for Space Mtn, my mom and I were done with that ride, but we got FP for all of us and my daughters rode 2x. Then we figured out the scooter exit line and we gave some of our FP away.
LOVED Indiana Jones, I think we rode it 4x. Disappointed in Splash mtn, I don't think it "told"the story like at WDW the characters seemed to talk over each other and the animatronics were very worn. Didn't expect the drops in Pirates.
The parade was disappointing. I haven't been to WDW in 5 years, but I thought the parade was much better.
No fireworks or Fantasmic due to grad night. We could see the fireworks from the hotel

We basically did everything we wanted to in 1 day. We did miss Small World. But for us that was it. If you use the FP system, getting a new FP everytime you are allowed you can have a great day. We had one person run and get the FP while someone else was on a ride.
After that we did San Diego. For 3 days, I'll post something in the other thread.

Then due to my Mom's flight we returned to Anaheim for one night and stayed at the Lemontree. Even though it had good reviews I would NEVER recommend staying here. The carpet in our room had holes and snags and there was a seam that was separated by at least a centimeter. It was old and outdated the white of the tub had worn to black. There were holes in every blanket in our room. Just felt dirty. Since we were here for just the night we put up with it and it was 68.00 a night.

Hope this helps and that you have a magical time.

Glad you had a great trip overall! I have always wondered about Lemon Tree because I have read great reviews on Tripadvisor. Thanks for the candid review, now I know! :thumbsup2 I saw people using the handicapped line to bypass the wait and I think it is great that they let the whole party do this! Very Smart!
