Hi!
We just returned from a wonderful trip To Europe and had squeezed in one day at DLP. I know a lot of people have the same idea of just having one day so I thought I would share my experience. Feel free to ask me any questions!
So we took the RER in (SO EASY!!) we were there about 45 mins after opening and headed straight to the studios. We got in single rider line for ratatouille, waited about 20 minutes. Loved the ride!! My mom got stuck on the ride so they gave her a fastpass for anytime later in the day for all three of us which was awesome! We walked up and got reservations for Chez Remy for lunch (awesome!!!) we were not expecting to be able to get in!! We then did the following things :
Slinky dog ride
Crush's Coaster
tower of terror
cinamagique
We then hopped to Disneyland around 3pm because I wanted to make sure we had enough time over there. I don't know if it was just a dead day or what but everything was basically walk on. We did everything we wanted to and more. It was crazy how little we waited in line, we never even used a fastpass because everything was walk on. In the back of the park we would walk 5 miniutes without seeing a single other person. We had a hard time finding a place to eat because everything was closed which I thought was really odd. We are Disney World vets so it being so dead was amazing it felt like we had the park to ourselves.
All in all I liked a lot of the attractions more than our version of them. One thing I was disappointed in was lack of Disneyland Paris merchandise. I planned on buying so much stuff but I barley ended up with anything. Most of the merchandise was generic Disney toys so that a little sad. We loved Dreams.

All in all it was amazing!! We are so glad we carved out a day to do this and we really got everything we wanted done and much much more so anyone who can fit in one day I would totally do it! One thing that was a little odd was it just felt different. It wasnt the joyus exciting environment I am used to in Florida, it felt really subdued. I welcome any questions!

Thank you for sharing this, I'm glad you had a great time! pixiedust:

:thanks: for your report. In general do people dress more casually there, jeans shorts? Compared to say, Paris?

I'm disappointed to hear the lack of DP specific merchandise too, I was planning on buying out the mouse house!

Sounds like you picked a great day, crowd level. Hope I'm so lucky next week!

@bsb I'm packing tonight!? Can't believe it's forecasted to be 85 when I'm there

Hi! Yes I would say you would be fine in jean shorts. It was much more casual than Paris, we all wore shorts and tanks because it was HOT!! We didn't feel under dressed at all. Have an amazing time!!! Maybe check the Disney village stores for merchandise, we didn't get a chance to visit but I saw they had a huge world of disney store. I kid you not I was wondering down all the shops on mainstreet SEARCHING for DLP specific merchandise to buy and came back with barley anything!! Have fun!!!!
