Quick Service vs. Regular Dining Plan

When I call on Thursday for our family of 5 (ages 40, 14, 10, 10, 10), the only affordable choice is Port Orleans Riverside with free dining. So if that is not available, what is the cost to upgrade from quick service to regular dining if I can get a suite at Music?

You would pay the difference, which I think is about $15/night.

About $18 per adult and about $3 per child, per night. But your cheapest option, after POR, would be to get 2 connecting rooms at value resort.

So I am looking at an extra $90 per night plus the cost of the more expensive room? Disney does not make it easy for a larger family. So I paid the deposit so far and about $400 if I have to cancel if I cannot get Riverside, I get a full refund except for the trip insurance right?

Refundable up to 45 days before check in. If your cancel after the 45 day mark, you would lose your $200 deposit. Also, 2 connecting rooms at a value is only about $10 to $15 more per night than 1 room at POR - and you get almost double the space and a second bathroom.

We do 2 value rooms. Cheaper than a suite. We loved having the 2 rooms. We did have the door in between, but we would have been fine without the connecting door.
