If I do the quick serviceplan on the first day of our trip will we each get a refillable mug? Also, how long will I have to use the QS credits? By midnight of the next day or will the credits just pile on the card? I plan on doing the regular plan for most (but not all) the rest of the trip.

Also, Does QS include Breakfast and lunch/dinner or can you use it for lunch and then dinner? We:) are not big breakfast people.:)

1. Yes you will get the mug.
2. The credits will expire at midnight on the date the segment for which you bought the plan ends.
3. You can use your QS credits for any meal you want.

not sure but don't think you can do any of the dining plans for just one night. i think it's a minimum of 2 nights. but some one else will chime in

DVC can do a single night and in any order of plans.

Normally, you must purchase a dining plan (any of them) for your entire length of stay. You are also required to purchase at least a 1day base ticket with that reservation.

DVC members and AP holders staying on AP or rack rates may purchase plans without tickets. DVC members may then also "segment" their trips any way they want to take advantage of different combinations of dining plans. This segmenting works just like a split-stay on cash. (Don't know if AP packages can also do this, though I'd think it would work just like a typical split stay and they'd have 2+ actual packages).

Unless you have a free dining offer (minimum 3 nights for those) there is no minimum stay for a dining plan (although I believe there is a maximum of 14 nights unless you a resident of Great Britain). I've gotten them for one night before. That's true on both packages and DVC. If you want two consecutive packages with dining, though, and you are not an annual passholder, you have to buy tickets with both stays. For DVC a ticket purchase is not required.

AP packages can do separate packages but not the same thing as DVC segmenting. I believe with the DVC segmenting they are certain to keep the same room. With two or more separate AP packages I don't think the same room can be guaranteed.
