Quick Service Resort Hopping

The food situation is bad. We left Animal Kingdom Lodge because we had no food options. We went to Costco and bought food to eat. I also purchased a toaster for the room since the food court has none. I will not be back until the food situation changes. Good Luck!
If you stayed in a villa, it should have had a toaster. Unless you are talking about before Covid.

Is the counter service at Disney Springs much better? And with mobile order, can you pay with a gift card?

If anyone is interested, we're staying at the WL currently and the concierge just told me they lifted the limit on resort hopping. As long as you are staying at a Disney Resort you can drive to another resort.

If you resort hop via the monorail, how late does the resort monorail run with MK closing at 6pm? Could we take the monorail to the Grand Floridian after park close and still be able to ride it the CR after our dinner? Our trip is in early November.
We just got back from a Poly stay, the monorail was shut down about an hour after park close.

That’s great to know! Last night we took an Uber back to beach club villas from topolino and the guard at the gate scanned my band before he would pass us through.

If you do go resort hopping, try out Primo Piatto at the Riviera. It is quite good for Quick Service. You need to mobile order, and your order has to be ready before you enter the restaurant. We ate there several times while we were staying there. I especially loved the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and the Croque Monsieur with Parmesan Herb Fries.

Ehh... I wouldn't put too much weight into that as the security guards have never been consistent (pre and post COVID) and we were turned away from AKL just 4 days ago. We were staying at Boardwalk and wanted to look at the animals mid-afternoon. Previously, we would have been allowed in (even when not staying onsite) but he turned us away.

Hopefully this will be so by mid October.

Yea I guess I'm not surprised. We drove over to the Poly last night and they scanned my magic band and let us in. I will say I've had fairly mixed interactions with cast members on this trip, which really surprises me. I assumed everyone would be excited to be back to work and have the parks and hotels filling up. Maybe I'm getting old and jaded. I remember the days when the Haunted Mansion cast members actually played their parts. I will say Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway was worth the wait and feels VERY high quality in a new tech way.

But I am not counting on getting to resort hop too much without a dining reservation.
