Yes, just the empanada which both my DH & DD did not like at all.:0( How can they not offer a bean burrito of some kind as a veggie option?

I enjoy reading your review as it gives me choices for our CS. We are staying at POFQ coming trip so we'll be definitely getting "make your own pasta" at POR. We loved it last time and it's just a big portion!

Just curious if you asked if you could subsitute beans for anything on the menu. I was really wanting to eat here, but I too am a veggie and I was hoping I could get them to sub beans.

Just got caught up on your reviews. I am really looking forward to Tangierine Cafe--loved it when I was there in 2008. I'm planning on Cantina de San Angel for our other Epcot meal. Hope it works better for us. No vegetarians here, though--beef tacos all the way!

I was intrigued by your WPE review, too. I keep feeling like we "should" go there when we're at DD to get the most value for our credits, but Earl of Sandwich looks better to me. You may have just helped me with that decision.

Yes we only had a burger twice in 2 weeks. (& not too many chicken nuggets)

POR was one of the best place we ate for CS. We also ate at the food court at POFQ which was delicious (coming up later in the review)

We didn't ask but I didn't see anything on the menu with beans in it. (Like a refritos)

We felt that way too since we heard it was a good place to maximize our cs credits. However we did learn that it is better to go where you like & eat what you like rather than try to get more out of the plan. We have been to EOS before & liked it alot. We should have used our credits over there instead of WPE.

Yes we had plenty & certainly did not starve. Also our whole family loved the flexibilty of not having to be anywhere at a certain time & eating when we were actually hungry & not when we had an ADR planned.

One morning we had a very late start & got to the POR food court just before 11am. All 4 of my gang got the breakfast bounty platters that i posted on before. However they were just changing over to lunch so I got the turkey sandwich with a side of macaroni & chick pea salad & fruit as the dessert. The turkey was fine & the fruit a nice change from fries. DH ate the macaroni which he liked.

Hollywood Studios. My kids love Toy Story so after a quick meet & greet with Phineus & Ferb we went over to Pizza Planet. They changed the side salad here. It used to be a small salad where you could choose your own dressing. Now it is a "pre"-dressed caesar salad which we all liked better.

I got a meatball hero, side caesar salad, & a large diet coke. The sauce was tasty & as you can see there was plenty of cheese!

DH got (what else? ) the veggie pizza & the kids all got cheese pizzas.

The choices for dessert were a chocolate chip cookie or a rice krispie treat. We got the cookies to go as we were saving ourselves for the cupcakes at Staring Rolls...yum.

Loving your reviews! I think the QSD plan would be perfect for us. Quite often we are planning our vacations kinda late in the game and can't get any TS reservations anyway. Good to see some options we hadn't considered for QS!

Thank you for your review! We are trying the QSDP in Dec. In 2008, we had the DDP. My grown children and my grandchildren are looking forward to the freedom of no ADR's. I have assured my husband of the many choices he will have and your pictures are a greeat help Thanks again for taking the time to review!

It has been years since we've been to Pizza Planet. The vege pizza looks yummy as well as the salad. I think we should try it back this trip.

And to top things off, you've made me an extremely happy girl, i didn't think you could get Mickey waffles at POR, just a POFQ... (Something a friend told me) Glad to see im wrong, or rather she was. Can't wait to have Mickey waffles!!!lol..

Thanks everyone!! I am glad to answer anything I can about the plan. This was the first time we did the QSDP & when I was planning out our trip I read everything I could about it. So I hope this review helps a fellow DISer in their planning.

Ok, I left off at DHS....

Thanks to the DIS I learned about the yummy cupcakes at Starring Rolls. Honestly I would not have stopped here otherwise. The place is small & the seating is outside (of course we wanted to be inside in the August heat) so if it were not for the cupcakes I would have passed this one over..I am glad I didn't.

We got the Chocolate peanut butter cupcake & the Marble cupcake. Both $3.99 each or 1 snack credit each. The chocolate PB has to be one of the best things I had all vacation. It was chocolate cake with a PB & chocolate fudge filling in the middle. The outside was covered in large chocolate shavings as you can see. Delicious!!! Everyone got their own & no we did not share!

You can also get a full sized Mickey waffle as well. My kids got this later in the week.
