Hi!
I know that with the dining plan that at a table service restaurant, kids have to get kid meals and adults will get a regular meal. (Entree, Drink, and Dessert, right? No appetizer?)

Is it the same with a quick serve meal? Are there separate kids/adult menus? (You still get entree, dessert, and drink right?)

That's my main question - if kids have to get something kiddie at a quick meal or are all quick food items the same?

I was also curious - do you always get your pick of whatever dessert or is it a set thing?
Thanks!

The kids JUST get a kids meal if there is a menu. Which typically includes two sides (you would have to use one for a dessert)

for example...you chould get Pizza, grapes and fries. Or Pizza, fries, cookie. Or Pizza, applesauce and grapes.

I think the kids get ripped off of a dessert personally.

Most of the QS restaurants have a child's menu so children will have to order from that menu. There are only a few locations that don't have a kid's menu so in those places the kids can choose from anything on the menu.

Kids don't get ripped off of a desert, it is just a healthier option of fruit. You can ask for a different dessert.
Everyone usually gets a choice, but is usually only 2 things, for example carrot cake or chocolate cake, or chocolate mousse or key lime tart. Many of the CS locations everywhere have the same 2 dessert choices.

We have never been given the option of the adult dessert for the chidren - and I've asked.

It is fine that they give them a healthier side option - but my kids eat healthy every single day at home and eating chocolate cake in front of them and trying to convince them their one chocolate chip cookie or bag of grapes is their dessert just doesn't cut it. Even I'd they were smaller servings of the adult dessert it would be better.

For that reason we usually just end up getting two adult meals and splitting them with the kiddos.

I didn't say they could have the adult dessert, just like they can't have the adult entree. They are not adults. In your own example, the choice would be a cookie. If your children have a problem with that, you have found a way to manage it.
Doesn't mean it is a "rip off", it just isn't your preference. Because something is different than you would like, doesn't automatically make it wrong.
Just sayin ...

I took your EVERYONE to mean EVERYONE.... when I guess in actuality you meant EVERY ADULT.

Sorry....I forgot that my opinion here on the dis is typically invalid. My bad.
