My DD's and I returned Sunday afternoon from a long weekend at OKW.
Let me say that this was the least crowded I have ever seen OKW right after Thanksgiving.
We arrived around noon Friday and walked right up to a CM at the check-in desk. After a few key strokes, we were told our villa was ready and were given our keys and welcome packet. Note: On the Activities Sheet, it now shows poolside movies three nights a week. I never saw this at OKW before.
We went to our villa and found no problems, as usual. (If I really wanted to nitpick, I did find some dust on top of the refrigerator, on the (high) shelf in the dining area and on the plumbing behind the pedestal sink, but nothing that wouldn't be found in most homes.)
Before leaving Sunday, the DD's went th Community Hall for air hockey, foosball etc. While they were there, I sat by the pool. ONLY ONE PERSON IN THE MAIN POOL AT 10:30 AM.
We enjoyed our all too brief stay--as usual!
I guess the economy really is having an effect on DVC.
