Quick reply (- please don't move)

I'm trying to find out if anyone else is having a problem with quick reply as I keep getting thrown into quote without wanting to. Technical support say that no-one else has registered this problem and don't know what's causing it - but I'm finding it so irritating.

So if anyone else is also experiencing this can they send a message to the Technical Support board please.

You just click on 'reply', type in the small 'quick reply' box (which will open up after you've clicked 'reply') under the main post and press 'post quick reply'

If you want to add smileys etc you just click on 'go advanced' button

As you can see I'm still having problems - but as I'm the only one it must be something I've done. I know I'm not hitting the wrong option - I even get into quick reply just to be automatically thrown into quote. I'll have to keep on using the full reply mode. Thanks for checking it out.

I don't understand Quick Reply at all. The box says, "Please click one of the Quick Reply icons in the posts above to activate Quick Reply." What icons? I don't see any.

Press the button next to the "Quote" button, the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom will become open and you can type in! =]

Yipee! It's working again! With help from DH I tried a few things so I'm not sure what actually solved the problem, but it's either clearing all my cookies or logging out properly (rather than navigating away from the DISboards) and logging back in again.
