Quick rental question

When someone is renting points from a member, does the member make the reservation and then collect from the renter or does the member collect the money first and then make the reservation?

The details of each transaction may be worked out between those involved. In some cases, the member may ask for payment in advance - but most will expect payment after receiving the confirmation.

In the case of a reservation that begins within 30 days, the member probably should ask for full payment before making the reservation since the points would be compromised if the reservation was made and cancelled if payment was not received.
