It would depend on the specifics of the trip. Unless there were a compelling reason for VWL, I'd chose AKV Standard though I'd likely chose Kidani or Jambo. Reasons, it's cheaper and we prefer the resort. You'll have to decide what's better for you. I'd suggest you look at your park plans, restaurant ADR's as well as your personal resort preferences and decide which matches up better.

If you pick standard view at AKV... take Jambo the view is better.

I'd choose AKL. One reason is that assuming that both places a very themed to the real thing, it's probably the closest I'll ever get to the "real thing" with the Africa Savannah, but I've been to Old Faithful Lodge, on which Wilderness Lodge is themed. Also, I'm a sucker for the zebras and giraffes, and also for Mara.

AKV, we stay in a cabin, in TN or GA every year during winter, however, I don't get to the Serengeti very often!

I prefer Kidani to Jambo!
