Quick Question

We are staying at the GF and are going to take our car to AKL for dinner at Jiko (we are spending the day AK and are leaving our clothes in the car for a quick change).

My question is can I leave my car with valet parking overnight ?

DH may or may not want to share a bottle of wine so I would rather be on the safe side.

Our other option is to cut our time at AK short and go back to GF to change and get a taxi to AKL.

I find that normally when you park your car at another resort, besides the one you are staying at in order to have dinner, they only give you a pass to keep your car there for about 3 hrs.

You can always talk to the security people at the gate about it. Or find out if there are any boats from AKL to the monorail route. I am not sure if there is I know there is one from the WL to the Contemporary.

You may also be able to take a bus.

Another option: Bus from GF to AK, bring change of clothes, store in locker (@ $5). Then bus to AKL, change there. Then taxi back to GF. Enjoy the wine!
