quick question from a DISer who hasn't been to DLR in over 2 decades

We are going the second week of March. Because this is relatively early into the spring break season and Easter is late this year, what do you experienced DLRers think we might miss due to lower crowd volumes? I have read and taken notes from the stickies. We didn't pick this time to avoid crowds. DS has his spring break from school this week. I already know that Mulholland Falls will be down, and I am bummed about it. TIA.

I can tell you that a lot of AZ school districts have the second week of March off for Spring Break too and a lot of AZ families go to Disneyland.

I've been this time of year and it isn't too bad during the week. Noticeably busier on Friday evening and the weekend.

That said, a lot of DCA will be down so just be ready that stores and restraunts will be limited. As far as rides it won't be as much of a problem.

Just keep in mind that that is still an off season time when rehabs are done so there may be some big rides closed.

It figures. It will be DH's and DS' first trip. DH decided to do this on the spur of the moment. Yes, it is still a long time away, but it was still spur of the moment. He looked at DS' school calendar, called DVC Member Services, and made reservations...all before he said boo to us. Welcome to my world

For what it's worth, I don't think it's too bad during this time based on my experiences. My son's birthday usually falls in the first week of April and it is complete madness every single year during that week so you might be missing the majority of it! I hope it works out to be a great vacation that you all really enjoy!!
