quick question about crystal palace

We are going in Jan and i already have a 5:15 ADR at Crystal palace. The parade is 7pm and Wishes at 8pm, with MK closing at 9pm. Would you move your ADR to 8:50? How does it work when your dinner is over after the park closes? Will the shops on mail street be open? Has anyone done this?

We did CRT last year and were in there after the park closed, like probably a good 45 min-1 hr after it closed. When we walked out it didn't even look like people had left. There were tons of people just sitting on benches and walking around, taking pics of the castle, etc. There's a very good reason why the buses run 2 hours after a park closes because people take their good ole time leaving. All of the shops were still open at this time.
