Can an adult order a child appetizer at TS restaurants? There are some places that I have ADR's planned where there simply isn't an appetizer that I would like to have. I would rather have a simple, small child app. rather than not order anything while the others with me are enjoying theirs! I know that its not the best use of the DxDP but that is ok with me.

Not sure if you are aware, but a child's appy isn't what you may think it is.

It is a side of veggie sticks, carrots or celery, or apples. Can be soup as well.

But it is not appetizers like you are probably thinking.

Are you sure there isn't an appetizer on the adults menu that you would like? They usually have soup or salad.

Like the pp mentioned, the appetizers on the kid's meals are very small, tiny cup of soup, a few carrot and celery sticks, small cup of fruit salad.

If you'd like to ask if you can have some carrots and celery sticks or a small cup of chicken soup in lieu of a regular menu appetizer, you can certainly ask about it, that doesn't sound like it would be a problem. But since I've never seen anyone ask this before I don't have any idea what the answer might be, it would probably depend on the restaurant and maybe on the individual server you get.

My daughter, who is an adult on the meal plan, has ordered a child appetizer with her adult meal. She asked if she could and they were more than happy to give it to her. :goodvibes
