Quick one - what's TTC?

Trying to conceive is what I know it to mean on other boards, I would think it would have the same meaning here.

I saw this in another post which said:
you can take a city bus from the TTC to Sea World (makes for a fun day)

I just wondered where it is exactly and how you get there and all.

And where is that located? Where could I find some information on that bus?

Thanks!

It is close to the Polyn.

when you park your car in the big lot for the MK. you are at the TTC.

to get to it from one of the resorts - you just take a bus to the MK then take the monrail (either the express or the resort doesn't matter) to the TTC - ticket/transportation center.

to get to the SW bus - go out the gates to your left - then kept to your left.

soon you will see a bunch of buses.

this bus is Lynx 50 - ask at the bus information where it will be located.

here is the link with the schedule

thanks for posting that lol i am getting so confused on the hotel ones.. wow

Feel free to slug me for nitpicking. But, it's actually "Transportation and Ticket Center", though most people say it the other way around.

Does this bus take you directly to Sea World? How much does it cost?

You can ride the city bus from WDW to Sea World for about 50 cents? Or a dollar...I forget, but I just read about that recently.

Wow, and here i was wanting to rent a car!!!
Can we take those bus to go other places i.e. shopping?? hehe

It used to be the other way around (if I remember right). I think it was in the 1980s when they switched it from Ticket and Transportation Center to Transportation and Ticket Center.

Chanty, me again. There is a bus that runs from Downtown Disney to the Palm Plaza. It has a good grocery called Goodings there. You can also get to Celebration to the New Watertower place shopping area. It has a Goodings Grocery, but I think the other one is better and closer

Chantal..I don't see why not..it's a city bus...they probably have one that'll take you to Dowtown Disney! And you could always take a YELLOW CAB...never use one of the other kind...they can stick it to ya....stick with YELLOW CAB!
MOUSESAVERS. COM has that information...just go there, see the side menu for TRANSPORTATION then on that page you will finds a bunch of information! :earsgirl:

Yeah I went but there's not much about the buses :(
Like I'd love to know how to get to the outlets, etc.

The oldest thing I have with me is a parking pass with a copyright of 1977. On it, it has a passage that reads "For the safety and convenience of your pet, may we suggest the Kennel Club, located at our Transportation and Ticket Center."

I'll check on some older stuff when I get home.

LYNX buses I think cost $1.50 per person with free transfers. You can take them to Sea World.

Prior to Magical Express, we used LYNX right from the Orlando Airport to our Resort. It worked great and was often quicker than MEARS. At the time it was $1.25 a person but I heard the end of March they raised it to $1.50.

The buses are nice and the drivers very friendly and helpful! You can go the web site and get the schedules.

At the ticket and transportation center you walk down the side walk on the far left( as you face the parking lot). The Disney buses are more in the front and the motel buses are in the center of the lot. The LYNX stops are clearly marked and there are benches for you to sit and wait.
