Quick Memory Maker Question

I am planning on getting MM for our upcoming October trip. We took a ton of photos last time and didn't have it so this time we're going to try it out! My question is: If you buy the advance purchase MM, does it activate once the CM scans your MagicBand the first time you get a picture? Thanks in advance!

I heard that but then I saw something about downloading the photos within 30 days. Hoping to get a clear answer also.

The timing period for downloads activates with your 1st download. Most people wait to download after they return home to give them more time to add borders, etc.

You can view your photos just don't download right away.

Hmm ok so I can buy it today, it will begin/activate when I get my first picture taken, and then the 30 day time period begins when I download the first picture when I get home. Correct?

It's active now as in your first photo will be automatically linked to your MDE account.

You technically can have it linked to your MDE account for an indefinite period of time and once you download one photo, your download window begins.

I was wondering the same thing. I was playing around with My Disney Experience for our trip next week and when I clicked on the pre-purchased Memory Maker, there was a place to click to activate?

You can look at them but they'll have the water mark over them until you officially start downloading them.

I can't locate the option to add borders, edit, etc. Can that only be done on a PC? I was on my iPad and didn't see edit options before downloading.
