Quick Memory Maker question(s)

Do we need to do anything to activate our Memory Maker package to start? Does it just start automatically on our check in date - when we take first photopass picture? Do we need to tell photopass person we have Memory Maker?

When we were there last ( 2015 ) we wore our bands while in the parks. 90% of the photographers just asked to scan our band after the photos were taken. The other 10% asked us while they were taking the picture if we had MM ( I think more for conversation than asking if we needed to scan the band ). It was very easy.

Hi- there are many rides that automatically take your photo too- those are not automatically added to your memory maker- you still have to touch your band to the photo when you come off the ride. (Sorry if you already knew this, just didn't want you to miss out)

No, you don't have to touch your band to the photo if you have MagicBands with a functioning battery.

If you’re wearing your magic band, they should automatically be linked to your account. That’s a feature of the long-range RFID function of the bands.

My bad- that explains why we have multiple copies in our memory maker (I always chalked it up to my twins both runnning over & each scanning every photo!)
