I was going to make an icing NO powdered sugar. Then I thought of something with brown sugar NO canned milk or whipping cream etc. I'm really not wanting to go to store.

I have pina cola marshmallows, cool whip an chocolate pudding mix.

How about stiring the chocolate pudding mix into the coolwhip adding maybe a touch of milk I have maybe a 1/2 cup of milk lol an spreading over the brownies maybe mixing in a cup of pecans or so either mixing into the cool whip mix or over top?

Why do you need to spruce up brownies. i love them the way that they are straight out of oven. But, your concoction sounds pretty good.

Run rasberry jam through the brownies....Really good!

:rotfl2: My first thought was, for all that is holy, don't go putting frosting on a perfectly good brownie. Guess that would be an option you wouldn't go with if you had everything you needed to make said frosting.

I like simple plain brownies or with walnuts. And cooked to that just slightly undercooked stage. No to the cake like brownies, must have the ooie-gooie kind.

Sorry I cant help you with your ingredients.

But now that I have brownies on the brain.

Make up your mix. Pour 1/2 mixture in pan and then layer with Symphony chocolate bars. Add the rest of your mix. Bake. When hot the chocolate bar is melted and heavenly but after it cools it turns hard again and is still wonderful. Top that with some ice cream. Wonderful.

Anyone else drooling?

Have any peanut butter cups? They are yummy!

Do you have any baking extracts lying around your pantry? I love to mix orange extract into brownie mix. Peppermint is good as well!

A brownie is best in it's natural state, don't mess with it

I like brownies as they are (nice and chewy, on the undercooked side) but you can try mix-ins if you have any sort of candy hanging around (peanut butter cups, etc).

If you have cream cheese you could swirl that into the batter before putting it in the oven.

I think you can put Peppermint Patties in the middle of them -- half batter, layer of patties, and then cover with batter.

Cool the brownies, spread on a layer of peanut butter, then spread on a can of chocolate frosting. I realize you probably dont have a can of frosting, but maybe next time:). You can cut them in squares and top each with a pecan. So easy, looks fancy, tastes awesome.

If the brownies are not made yet, and you have left over Thin Mints from Girl Scouts, you can crush up the Thin Mints into the batter before baking.
