Quick Help needed! March, April or May?

Ok, hopefully someone can help soon (I have a lot of faith in the DIS ) because my DH has to submit a request ... a few days ago

Anyone care to share their experience with crowd levels in the Spring? I went in March but it was like 100 years ago so I don't really remember. Here's what we're looking at.


March - June
- I know that Easter is April 8th next year, so probably the entire month is out, except maybe the last few days
- June is out, because we honeymooned during that time and it's freakin miserable in the Florida sun (IMO)

- so mostly, what do you think about March and May? And maybe April, if I'm not thinking correctly.

Have been to WDW in May on 2 separate occassions, the last trip being May 2005! Went during Mother's Day ... just DS9 and me! It was amazing. Crowds weren't bad at all, weather was simply gorgeous!!! If I could, I'd take every trip in May! I was just lucky to get a pastor's holiday at school, took an additional day off and took advantage of a long weekend! Poor Daxx had to stay at home!

I agree with Daxx's wife, I think early May will be your best bet. Also, since Easter and Passover are in early April next year, late April probably won't be too bad.

Early April will be jammed and March is always a big spring break month.

Ok, so I'm thinking we'll rank

1) First half of May (he takes vacation in 2 week intervals, and it has to be first or second half of the month)
2) Second half of May
3) either 2nd half of April or 1st half of March

I'm not sure how likely he is to get which choice, but I like the first 2! Now to narrow down the third ...

We went the second week of March last year and the crowds weren't bad at all (got reservations for CRT two days before!) but my only gripe was the weather- it was kinda cold most of the time, only part of one or two days were tshirt weather. That also might have been out of the ordinary since the week before had been really nice and the week after was supposed to be nice too... figures

Thanks everyone! We narrowed it down to early May, late April, late May and Early March and then looked into a bit a more. I kept hearing GREAT things about all of those times, so we just ranked it as follows:

1) 1st half of May
2) 1st half of March
3) 2nd half of April

.... so now we'll just let the Chief Resdient make our decision!

I keep hearing that early May is consistently great. The other 2 I hear WONDERFUL things about, but then a few terrible things as well (obviously, when it comes to opinions ). But March includes a trip to Braves Spring Training.......... so that bumped it up!
