Quick help - how much does Disney "hold" on your debit card?

We're leaving tomorrow morning! ! We're not using any credit cards so I was wondering if anyone had an idea of how much Disney "hold" on your debit card when you check into the hotel for incidentals?

We recently stayed at a Holiday Inn Express and they had a sign up saying that if you used a debit card for incidentals then there would be a $25 hold on your account for each night you stay and that it could take 3 - 7 days for the funds to be released. It's not a big deal - I just want to make sure I transfer enough money into the account we're using. Thanks!

They hold nothing - not a thing - they make sure it is a valid card but there will be no hold on it.

I used my debit card for check in December 2009 and April 2010 and nothing was held on my card either time.

They don't hold anything, but you have charging limits on your KTTW and once the limit is hit they will charge it. Values - $500, Mod - $1000, and Dlx - $1500.

Just back 10 days ago, used our Disney Visa Debit card, no hold placed on it whatsoever! They just verify that it is a valid card and you are given a limit depending on where you are staying. We reached our limit with 2 days left in our trip to the Poly so I went to the front desk, had them push the charges through that we had incurred, and then we used the same debit card to start all over again at 0. Have a good trip!

You're allowed $500 in charges for a Value Resort, $1,000 for a Moderate, and $1,500 for a Deluxe/Villa before they want to push the charges through. If you don't check, you'll be denied when you try to use your KTTW card for a purchase so I suggest clients make it a point to stop by the front desk every other day and get those charges processed.
