Quick Fastpass Question

Hey folks...I'm trying to put together an itinerary for this weekend and here's my dilemma. My brother and his wife are taking part in the Segway Tour on Monday morning. We were hoping that they could take our passes and get 4 fastpasses for Soarin' and we'd meet them when the time came around. Is it possible to use park tickets to get fastpasses when those tickets have not been used to enter the park that day> Thanks in advance for your help.

No, the ticket must have been used to enter the park.

No, that doesn't work. You must enter the park to be eligible for a FP.
I discovered that when our two boys and I were in Epcot without DW. When I went to get fastpasses for Test Track, just out of habit I ran all four tickets through the machine, and was surprised when DW's was rejected! I just wasn't thinking, and was just glad I didn't set off any alarms!
