Quick easy beach

I am coming from Nor Cal and doing mostly Disneyland and visiting family in Orange, however, my kids want a beach day and I'm not familiar with traffic, beaches, etc that would be nearby. Any suggestions?

Huntington Beach is about 30 to 40 minutes from DL. A good selection of restaurants of various price points in the center near the pier.

I live in Sacramento, Huntington is a good choice. Easy to get to. Ahhh the fond memories of going to the beach. Have a great time!

I agree that Huntington is good, and so is Newport Beach (Newport has milder waves).
