Quick! Does anybody make a "cash" gift card.......

..... that I can order and send online? I need to send a cash gift and don't want to do a check. It is for my sister and I want to make it a little more unique. It is her 50th b'day and I'm sending her a cake and $50 in cash.

She lives in Tennessee and I will not be able to see her on her day.

If you are a AAA member they have a "Gift Card" that is cash. I don't know if you can buy it online. You may be able to.

I gave my two nieces gift cards for Christmas. I got them online at www.bankofamerica.com/giftcard/ They are prepaid VISA cards so could be used anywhere. I had them mailed to me so I could wrap them but they had the option of shipping them to the person named on the card.

You can also send a Webcertificate. It works just like a cash MasterCard and you can spend it anywhere online.

My kids got those cash MasterCards for x-mas. They think that they are cool but you have to spend them within 6 months. My kids love to hang on to their money but I guess that this will make them spend it. LOL

This is the best thing since sliced bread! We got one for our DD (16) about a year ago and it's a loadable card that can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. There's a $2.50 fee for each amount that you load onto it and you can track the spending online.

I know you want it for a gift, but you can use it for that too. Go to www.visabuxx.com and have one sent to your sister and then tell her to keep it and you can load it anytime you want to send her more monetary gifts.

It's really great for teens. We got it for our DD when she went to Europe last summer and she's been using it ever since. Better than carrying cash around and sometimes it comes in handy when I need her to pick up something for me (prescription, etc.) and she doesn't have money on hand to get it.
