Quick DME question..

So, kids and I are flying in on 6/15. Husband was supposed to fly in 2 nights later and join us. Got DME all set up for that. However, he has now decided to join us only 1 night later - the 16th. Do I need to call and request new tags for him, or can he just use the ones that have the 17th on them?

Since you have plenty of time, it's your choice regarding requesting new tags.

If you use the existing tags be sure to draw a line through the old date and write in the corrected date.

While the bar code, when scanned, will match up the bags with your existing room reservation that has already started, it is better to play it safe and not have obsolete or incorrect information or labeling in plain sight.
