Quick dining reviews 9/24-10/2. Restaurant grades

Our family’s reviews for 9/24-10/2…dining plan.
7 of us ( DH, DW, DD9, DS7, DS5, DGranddaddy, Dgrandma)

Here are the grades…I could (and will if requested) elaborate, but by now everyone has read about the main foods at these places. Unless mentioned, the wait was less than 10 minutes from our reservation time. And, of course, a waiter/waitress can make or break a dining experience..and they have to be fairly exceptional at Disney just to scramble and give average-to-good service. I meant to remember our servers' names, but never seem to.


Ohana ... A- ... Great table, great waitress (Marjorie), great food and drinks.
Cape May ... B+ ... Nice table and waitress, really good food, desserts ok.
Chef Mickey’s ... B ... Good characters. Food average (breakfast).
LTT ... B- ... Good characters. Food average (order flank-steak rare..much better!), great service (Enoch ?)
50’s PT Café ... B ... Food just average, but desserts great! Server was ok ...busy, so not too interactive, but was a little.
Le Cellier ... B- ... 'B' without the 45 minute wait, all the while staring at a handful of empty tables! I know we had 7, but other families of 4 were waiting too and we all had ressies. Unacceptable. Waitress very good. Food good, Beef tenderloin kabob appetizer was great!
Sci-Fi ... C ... Waited 25 minutes. Food not bad (burgers/reuben). Kids enjoyed atmosphere/movie-clips.
1900 ParkFare ... A- ... Good quality food (supper) . Waited 30 minutes. Good characters.
Boma ... A- ... Great food/choices. Waitress started giving poor service, but we let her know what was expected.
Biergarten ... B ... Food pretty good. Beer very good. Desserts average. Beautiful place. Entertainment talented/fun.
Whisp.Canyon ... B+ ... Loved the milkshakes/smoothies! Food was hearty/good. Desserts ok. Our waitress was a good server, but not very interactive (show-wise). We did enjoy other servers and their antics. 15 minute wait (lunch).
'Ohana (again) ... B ... Great drinks (lounge..30 minute wait), good food. Waitress started slow, but improved.
Chefs de France ... A- ... (per my folks) Great server. Really good food.

counter-service
Cosmic Rays ... B+ ... Very nice. 'Entertainer' was loud, but kids loved it. Great choices... 3 counters serving diff. things.
Launching Pad ... B+ ... DW and DD like the turkey-legs.
Columbia H.H. ... B+ ... Wonderful seating (upstairs!). Food is good and a nice change from burgers.
Tangerine ... A+ ... (Epcot..Morocco counter-service) Great food/desserts!
FlameTree bbq ... A ... (AK) Very good food, wonderful views in outdoor seating areas.
Food-and-Fun ... B ... (Contemporary fast-food place). Better than in years past.

Where we'd go back...on the dining-plan, we ate at many places we'd not tried before. While we're glad we tried the ones we did, if we went back, these would be the table-services we'd (DH/DW) do again... Cape May, 50'sPT (for desserts!), 1900PF, WCC.

DS5 - Ohana, Sci-Fi ('place with the cars'), 1900PF
(so by popular demand we'd also do 'Ohana again )

Thanks for the reviews. We ate at Chefs de France on 10/3 and had great service and food. The filets (3 medium well & 1 well) were done to perfection.
