Quick CSR room question

Hi! We are staying at CSR in April and I know they cannot guaranty room location but I would like to at least make a request. We are just in a standard room. We have a 4 year old and 1 year old. I've read a lot about it, so I think 1I should request Cabana 8a or 9b to be close the the bus stop and pool/dig area. Am I right? Also, it this close to the food court?

We are checking in tomorrow, Feb 8, 2008, and I was about to post the same question! Also have a 1 yo and 5 yo. Have read Cabanas are good but also read where Cabana 9A was previously smoking? So should I avoid? Looking at the map I am thinking to request 9B or 8A as the previous post said. I will certainly post a reply once we get back next week!

Any of the cabanas are great locations but 9b is closer to the main building. No smoking went into effect last July so I would guess that the smell must be gone by now.

Back in September we stayed in the Ranchos 7B and were close to a bus stop, close to the main pool, and had a quiet pool right outside our door. So, if you don't get your first requests...

Depending on what you want to be close to, here are some good building choices.

Cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site (main pool) over the wooden bridge (most convenient location and most preferred).

Cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site (and playground) and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building (closest to the pool).

Cabana 8b and 9a are in between the 2 above. 9a has a quiet pool (and is the old smoking optional building).

Ranchos 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a.

Casita 1 is attached to the main building and is very close to the restaurants.

Casita 3 has great courtyard and fountain views but you will have to walk or ride the internal shuttle to get to the pool.

Casita 5 has some nice fountain and lake views and is close to the Dig Site but farther from the main building. Close to bus stop #2.

Make your room request as soon as you make your reservation. It’s never too early.

We stayed in Cabanas 8a and it was a good building to be in. Bus stop # 4 was right behind our building - one min walk, the Dig Site was less than a minute walk, and El Centro a 3 min walk. Have a great trip!
