Quick Birthday Trip....with RAIN!!!!

Well, this special I got was thru coke, kinda. I had to have a coke upc, to put in online to get these, and they're fl resident....one of the perks of living here I guess!! We get to spend all our money in the local venues!! HAHAHA WE got a bbq my parents are doing for Chris today, should be fun! They're gonna have a little 'ahem' fun with him!! I'll have my camera ready for this one!!

I am trying to get into planning my September trip, but it seems so far off. I know it really isn't though. I just don't have to do as much planning because I bought all the cloths Dallas and I will need before the May trip. I still need to get our ADRs decided but that is about it.

alright, before i get to the dtd portion of the trip, we had a bbq after Chris advanced for the family, it was pretty funny. My dad TRIED to squeeze into his old army uniform from the 1960's....and put some captiain printout things on his hat and collar, it was pretty comical. So, for the pictures of this...

All in all it was a good night, VERY funny skit by my brothers and dad...some more pictures of dad....and then on to the DTD update..

Last day, we checked out of the cabin, it was actually a good morning, no rain! So, we got the car loaded, and checked out, and headed to do some shopping and spend our last dining credit. We get there, park, and start walking around, DH realizes he doesn't have his work phone!! His is the expensive one, for work!! So, He runs back to FW, finds out mousekeeping hasn't cleaned our cabin yet, so he goes back in, and finds the phone...whew!!! He comes back, and Tyler is shopping in the lego store...boy is WORSE then a woman in a shoe store in there!! I tried to get a good picture of him LOL

So, he finally bought something, and we went outside to admire the lego things, did you know there was a hidden mickey on the dalmation? Here it is!!

I guess I didn't take too many pictures there...but we went in, shopped for my manager's baby shower, then went to earl of sandwich to eat, I had a turkey, tyler had a meatball, and I forgot what everyone else had, it was yummy! It looked like it was gonna rain again, so we figured we'd better go. We were tired, and mostly sick of the rain!! So, DH went ALL the way to the other end of DTD to get the car, and we got stuck in the rain waiting for him LOL but, it wasn't that bad. we got in the car and headed home. Tyler took one of his new toy in the car...

He also got one of me in the car on the way home...

All in all it was a good trip, rain and all. I just HOPE it doesn't rain in Sept when I'm there! Thanks for all who have been there with me for this, Sorry to Pam and Dana for plans changing and not being able to meet up with ya'll, I was REALLY looking forward to it!! Maybe ya'lls next trips I can head over there on the weekend or something. But, thanks all for listening...it was fun, can't wait to do it again in 3 months!!!!

Great trip report Christie! Too sad that its over already.

On a side note we did Teppan Edo this trip and it was one of our favorite meals. Our cook was so entertaining - she did an awesome job. I hope you enjoy it too.

The pictures of the bbq look like y'all had a good time. I love your Dad's "uniform" . I hate that your TR is over, but I know all good things must come to an end . I am trying to get into the planning of our September trip, but I swear it seems like it is so far off. The picture of Tyler at DTD is a very good picture . I hate that we didn't get to meet up either. It would be great if you get a chance to come over when we are there in September. We could hang out by the pool and have a cool drink .

Are ya'll gonna do the halloween party one night in September? Those tickets are cheaper then the regular day tickets, so maybe we can do that one night, otherwise I'm limited to weekends on coming over. Spending the rest of my vacation over there with my mom and sister!!

I'm sad this had to come to an end too, but....focus is now on the september trip, 3 months from today!! WOOHOO!!!!

Just ot the cd from the share in the mail, so I put them on the computer. The only ones we were able to get were at the poly, for dinner because of all the rain!! UG!! So, here we ALL are..

Here's dad and DSM, dad had a toothache, so his face was drooping a little bit on one side...he was a little tired too...it was night time!! I told him he looks old in this picture!!

and me chris and tyler....gotta figure out how to put this in my siggie now!!

with these, I just took 9 pictures, and made it into 22, with borders and such, these are my three favorite!!

Your photopass pictures are great. I am so leery of getting the pp gain. I guess I could get all the pictures made and then when I get home decide if I want to do the CD or not. Your's really came out good . I can't wait to see the US picutes. Did y'all have a good time?

Yea, we had a good time, it was just HOT...I put the US pictures on the Sept ptr, so you can see them there. I'm glad those pictures turned out good. I got involved with a share for Sept too...before they banned them!! So I got lucky. Hopefully then we'll get more pictures!! I'm gonna try to get to the poly early for dinner that first night and do that again with mom and sis.

Thanks Pam, glad ya liked it!! I wish I coulda met up with ya'll, but I didn't even get to meet up with Dana, stupid rain!! But, we did have a good time, and 86 more days!! And we're back again, with different family....should be fun!! I hope! I'm absolutely adoring your TR, your kids just look wonderful!!!

Thanks!!! Yea, I'm pretty blessed with the people I have around me! My dad is lots of fun, it's slowing down as he gets older, and it really makes me sad, but he still gets out there and goes with us! Dh is absolutely the love of my life, and I couldn't be prouder of him and his career. DS, well, he's a hoot too, don't do hardly anything without him, except work....and he's just soooo much fun!! I love this age! I try to enjoy every bit of time I get with any of them, I call them my 3 favorite guys!! Thanks for stopping by, hopefully next trip I'll have more pictures!! I got a PTR floating around somewhere on the PTR board!!
