Quick Banking/Waitlist Question

Even after all these years, I'm still trying to wrap my head around banking points. Here's the situation:
I have a December UY.
43 points previously banked (that means I must use them before December 2018 or I'll lose them, right?)
74 points left in this UY.

I'm booked at SSR in October for 64 points. Waitlisted at Poly in October for 92 points (will replace the SSR reservation if it comes through.)

I think either way I'll need to bank some points. My bank deadline is July.

If I bank 53 points in July but my waitlist for the Poly comes through later, can I pull those points out of bank? How does that work?

Points need to be banked during the first 8 months of your UY. Your UY is not a calendar year. Points need to be available during the dates of your stay, not when you make the reservation. Banking moves points one UY forward, borrowing moves points one UY back. Banking and borrowing are final transactions and can not be reversed.
