Quick ? - Banking and Reservation

We are planing on booking a trip to the World for June 11, 2010. We are going to book at our 11 month window and the trip is going to go over our yearly points. We have a Dec use year and are planning on banking 53 points from the 09 use year which will be more then enough to cover the extra points needed for our trip in 2010. We have until the end of July to bank the points so here is my question. Do the points need to be banked before we call to book our trip on July 11th? If so how much lead in time is needed to make sure the computers are showing the banked points? We want to avoid borrowing any points from the 2011 use year.

You can bank them on-line or have the MS rep do it for you. It's pretty quick.
