ETA: it's done.
I have food posoning.
I have food posoning.
Good luck, hope you can go

You should have called TODAY or even before, and explained what happened and ask if someone could fill in for you.
But in this case, I don't know. Lying seems wrong, but if you say 'So I messed up, can I have it off?' it probably doesn't seem professional.
I'd probably call in sick, say I have a migraine (which is likely).
Or you could say that you threw up that morning and aren't sure how you'll be the rest of the day and you don't wanna chance it.
Me? I'd tell a fib. But that's just how I roll.
I know. I had the perfect oppertunity at work today, but I got scared and chickened out. I might just go to work. I feel like I've lied about my attendance too much.
But...half of me still wants to go. I know what I should do...I just...feel blah.

I'm really not sure. Do you work at a grocery store or something?
In any case, I still wouldn't wait until tomorrow. I mean, I guess its kind of late now, but you really should have let them know today.
I guess that if you really want to go to Six Flags (lol, don't blame you!!) I would call tomorrow, and go with mild food poisoning. Thats something that comes unexpectedly and is over in a day.
yeah, i work at a grocery store.
and food poisoning...hm..good idea...
and my job is open til midnight...so, if i don't make a decision by tonight...i'll probably..i don't know.
There's a food recall here, pretend that your dad went up to Canada and bought Maple Leaf brand bologne and you got sick from listeria.
