Hi guys :wave2:

Me and my friend are off to DLP on sunday (can't wait! :goodvibes ) and I was just after some last minute advice from your good selves!

We went to DLP last year from June 7th-11th and found the queues to be more than bearable for that time of year, apart from the one saturday we spent in the park, which we expected. On some days there was even a "0" minute wait for Space Mountain!

So....this year we're going form 25th-29th june, and whilst we're expecting big queues on Sunday, we were wondering whether there will be a big difference for the queues from monday-thursday?

If anyone would know this that would be great! :thumbsup2

I don't think you should notice much of a difference. School summer holidays don't seem to start anywhere before the very end of June, at the earliest. So here's hoping you have as pleasant a time as last year!! :sunny:

The parks have been much more busier than normal during the last four weekends.
In the weekend of 10-11 June all official hotels were apparantly completely booked. We left at approximately 11:00 on Saturday and the Disneyland park was already very busy. I am glad that we did not need this day to go on many attractions because we would have been waiting and waiting. Waiting times for some rides were more than two/three hours later in the day and evening. Also last weekend there were approximately 70.000 guests in the Disneyland Park. The Walt Disney Studios also did very well.
Apparantly this June is a very good year for Disney (very high occupancy rates for the official hotels) and far above expectations:woohoo: but not for visitors who like small lines.
I think that the difference between the number of visitors and numbers of visitors for the rest of your trip will be noticeable. But perhaps not as big as previous years since the weekdays also attract high amount of visitors. I am glad that we visited from 7-10 June because last week was apparantly already a lot busier. It must be said that the weather has also been very nice :sunny: during the last few weeks and that this can have had a large positive impact on the number of visitors in comparison to previous years .
But since you have 5 days in the parks I think that you won't have any problem seeing and doing all the attractions in the parks. Have fun.

Sorry Luke - I was just basing my opinion on when the school holidays start. :guilty: Yes, not so good for you if the parks are busier, but it is encouraging to see DLP drawing in the numbers.

i mean we have 5 days in the parks, so we're not gonna be struggling to get everything done. I dont care how many people are there, im just so excited to be going again!

Also does anyone know we could check what the weather will be like? somewhere online?

Hi there,

We arrived in DLP on wednesday the 14th of june and stayed till sunday, the 18th. I must say that wed and thurs were the best days in terms of waiting in the queues. Saturday and Sunday were horrendous, sometimes we waited for an hour and for the most popular rides people waited for 90mins or even longer. I suppose the weekends are always very very busy as everone from France and people on holiday in France do day trips to DLP.

Good Luck, I'm sure you'll have a great time. Try and get to the park more or less when it opens (10am weekdays and 9am on a weekend) and you'll have more chances to get on the rides sooner.

Enjoy!

Emax
