Queues that may trigger....question?

Would you be able to watch YouTube ride videos prior traveling? Many showcase the que as well as the ride and might be helpful. (This helped my sound sensitive child prepare if he wanted to bring his noise cancelling headphones.)

Just another thought!

ETA: Also, don't hesitate to put some space in front of you in a line. My DH and I would kind of take the front and back of our group to help space things out for my child as well. If you're traveling with others, they might be able to assist.

Yes, I have been doing that, but most of the rides videos don't show the cues, or line (cause that would be really boring on video right?) Since this isn't my first time at UO/IOA I kinda remember some of the lines/cue but of course Hagrids, Velocicoaster, Kong and a couple more are new to me.

Thats perfect about having my other travellers "space it out for me"
Thanks again for everyone's input and advice.

Wearing bright clothing can help with the dark areas for me.
I cut out caffeine and nicotine to help chill out to.
Traveling with friends and family can help to insulate you from the crush.
I've had luck at various times with meds, therapy, meditation/mindfulness to help but still have to manage my surroundings at times.

I found a queue video of Hagrids...and yes I can see why you all said it would be an issue. I will speak to TM's to see if I can avoid that part of the line. That's one ride I really want to do, wish me luck.
Im ok with skipping Dudley Do Right (I hate that water ride), Im even ok missing the the Mummy but I really wanted to do Hagrids & Veloicoaster.

I recently did Hagrids on different days with the AAP and one time the pass took us in the back entrance by child swap right into the last room where i don't think you'll have a problem, and one took us in a few rooms back to which I think took us through some tight areas. When you go to return for your pass, they'll direct you towards the exit (past where the ride photos are) and there will be someone there checking you have an AAP. I'd mention there that you don't do well in tight spaces. I'm guessing they'll let you skip to the front room.

For gringotts, we got there really late one day (right before close) and they had us go in the back entrance and use the elevator there. We had a wheelchair and they probably thought that would be faster. It took us right to the front of the line. We missed the fun preshow stuff, but then you'd be in a fake crowded elevator which doesn't sound ideal. I'd talk to the TM about that when you get return times

Excellent advice.

Im ok in the elevator as long as Im closest to the doors and not in the centre (like in Haunted Mansion stretching room) probably cause it know where to stand and whats coming.
But Ill definitely tell the TM's why I need those accommodations.
