Queues that are outdoor and not shaded at WDW

I was just looking on Amazon for sun umbrella and cam across This fan mister umbrella you might want to take a look at. it looks like a big one you might be able to fine a sander one. This is for the OP manly

:::sigh::: I know you said it was for the OP, but I couldn't help myself, and I looked! 😂

Epcot:
The odds of Nemo or Imagination having a long outdoor queue are very, very low. These rides are usually walk-ons.
SE can seem like there's a long outdoor queue, but the wait there is often quite short, even if the line looks long. But most of it is, indeed, outdoors in little to no shade.
FEA: The line would have to be 100+ minutes in order for it to be outdoors. I was in a 90-minute line there once and it was all indoors . . . and exceedingly boring.
Remy: Most of that queue is also indoors, although if the line is hugely long, it'll be outdoors too.
Soarin' and Living with the Land are both indoor attractions. You're good there.

DAK:
If you can afford it, purchase an ILL$ for FoP. The line there can get brutally long and a lot of it is outdoors if it's a 90+ minute wait.
NRJ: If the wait's long, a lot is outdoors, but much of the outdoor queue area is pretty well shaded.
KS: If this line gets really long, it can be in the sun. I was in line for KS a couple of years ago and the line was all the way back to the Lion King theater.
KRR: Usually this doesn't have a huge line, but if it does, lots of it will be outside without shade. But I've rarely experienced this.
Dino: If it still exists when you get there, most of the queue is indoors.
ITtBaB: Why why why would anyone want to see a movie about insects? This may explain why there's never a wait for this.

MK was well covered by other posters.

DHS
Here's another place to spend your ILL$ money. RotR can have a hugely long line and at least some of it is outdoors in the no-shade.
MMRR: I waited in line here once 55 minutes and died in the sunlight. Even though there are umbrellas every few feet, it's not enough.
TSM: Mostly indoors unless the line's huge.
I think everything else has been covered by others.

Here's the thing--if you can't handle being outdoors in the heat and sunlight (I find the sunlight in FL to be almost unbearable), then scrimp around and save and purchase G+ and ILL$. These are lifesavers for those of us who can't or don't want to be out in the heat/sunlight. That's really your best bet.

And, yes, the UV umbrella really helps, but it's not a cure. I found it very useful last July but my sister still couldn't stand being outside, so I ended up doing about half the park part of the trip by myself.

Thank you for the info! I did decide to splurge and pay for an after hours event at Hollywood Studios. It sounds like it could be the most brutal park for sun exposure, and it seemed like a better option than paying for both LL and Genie+ and having to still stay all day in the heat. I also have 2 days at Magic Kingdom. I figure if I do early mornings, take a break, and then come back at night time for both days, I can still accomplish quite a bit. I'm planning on doing early morning and night time for Epcot as well. For AK, I'm planning to do early entry and just stay for as long as I can stand it. LL is more useful than Genie+ because I can pick a specific time. I wish Genie+ allowed that. I agree with you on the movie about insects. 😆

Glad I could help.

The Toy Story are of DHS is the absolute worst place in all 4 parks as far as heat and sunlight go--and nowhere to get a break from it. So doing the after-hours there is a great idea.

Actually, I find Epcot overall to be the most brutal no-shade park, so doing nighttime at Epcot is also the right idea.

Have fun! You will!
