I'm looking for info. on hotwire savings club. I understand you can buy food vouchers for Disney there, but what else is available? Is it worth it? What kind of food vouchers do they sell at what prices and are they worth it?

Thanks!

I joined Hotwire Savings Club about a month ago and purchased about $200 worth of Q&C lunch vouchers & breakfast vouchers (these are quick & casual) and you can use them mostly as counter service - they are $11.50 per adult and include a drink, a meal and a dessert (cookie or brownie and such); the breakfast ones are $18.99 (I think) per adult and the other lunch vouchers which can be used at several locations for a sit down lunch are $31.00 per adult. I just like the idea of prepaying for our meal so that we don't have to worry except for a few nice meals at dinner.

Hotwire also sells movie tickets at $4.50 a piece, 20% off of restaurant gift certificates, 20% off some store gift certificates and 15% off theme park tickets. You should join for the free 30 day trial and get the $10 rebate back and then decide if you like it; hotwire even sent me an e-mail reminding me that they were going to charge the monthly fee (which I believe is $7.95) and made sure I was aware in case I wanted to cancel.

I choose not to cancel as I like the deal you can get on movie tickets which are even cheaper than those offered through AAA - hope this helps and good luck with you decision.

Anyone out there who tried to cancel and had a hard time? I've been burned by these offers before where you try to cancel and you keep getting your credit card billed. It's a nightmare to straighten out. I would like to join for the vouchers.

I cancelled on the phone and it was very quick and easy...I just hit buttons when prompted and it took all of 2 minutes or less. Now I guess the real test will be to see if they charge my credit card! (My guess is that it will all be fine since they sent me an email reminding me that I needed to cancel within the week if I did not want to be charged)

I joined to take advantage of the Q & C vouchers as well as SW tickets. However, I didnt get anything to do with a rebate. How does it work? Or maybe better.........what do I need to do to get it?

We joined Connections and stayed a member in order to get a $25.00 dining certificate (it took 6 mos and 8 phones calls to get it). When I tried to cancel, the charge kept appearing every month and when I called they said it showed as cancelled! I joined through Lillian Vernon and paid monthly. Then at renewal time they automatically charged my account $89.00 for the next year. It seems it is really hard to speak with someone that can speak good English, I think they route their calls.
