Ok. So I have about 9 days to go until my 180 days until my Disney trip. I know someone said my travel agent can make my reservations, but I would feel more confortable making them on my own. So, do I need a reservation number or anything to make my reservations? Can I do it online if I don't have a reservation number? How early can I do it online? If these answers are answered somewhere else, I'm sorry. I'm so new to this.

If you are staying on-site and wish to take advantage of the 180+10 perk that on-site guests receive, then you will need your Disney confirmation number. 180+10 means that you can make up to 10 days worth of reservations at 180 days before date of check-in.

Otherwise, you can make reservations up to 180 days out from date of dining.

If you are planning on dining at any of the pre-paid locations (CRT and the 3 dinner shows) and you have an eligible dining plan that you're planning on paying with, then you will need the resort confirmation number in order to avoid paying at the time of booking.

The online reservation system rolls over to the next day at 6am EST, phone lines open up at 7am EST (or EDT or whatever it is right now :p).

Thank you for your reply. Since I'm still fairly new, what's the CRT and the 3 dinner shows that I would have to prepay for? We have the dining plan that you get 1 snack, 1 counter service and 1 sit down meal a day.

CRT = Cinderella's Royal Table, a restaurant in MK
The three dinner shows are:

  • Hoop De Doo Revue (HDDR) - Western Show at Ft. Wilderness
  • Spirit of Aloha (SoA) - Luau at Poly
  • Mickey's Backyard BBQ - BBQ at Ft. Wilderness

When on an eligible plan (all except the Quick Service Dining Plan), if you have the resort confirmation these 4 become CC held rather than pre-paid.
