Questions regarding the 1/2 marathon

Hi,

My dh and I have registered for the 1/2. What are the chances that we will get to start together in the same corral? We both listed the same estimated finishing time.

Another question I have, Since the 1/2 and full marathon are being held on separate days does this mean that the beginning ofthe race wont be as congested as prior years?

Anyone else staying as Saratoga Springs?

If you and Dh listed the same finish time and signed up about the same time, you should be in the same corral. There are many people in each corral.

I too am curious about the number and crowds for the 1/2 this year. I expect that they will have upped the maximum allowed over last year, but don't know where the number will be.

If I do the 1/2 (still on the fence), I will probably stay at OKW, but am considering SSR since I haven't stayed there yet.

As long as you registered at the same time--your chances are pretty good. If by chance you are in a different corral---the one in the higher corral can always move to the lower corral--it's the lowers trying to move up that they really try to prevent.
