Questions regarding multiple disney visa & rewards cards

DH and I have several Disney Visa cards between us....all with rewards points/$$ on them. I want to use the rewards dollars to pay for things on our trip but I'd like to put all that money in one place rather than carrying around several rewards cards. So...here are my questions:

1. Can I transfer all the points to ONE rewards card or is each rewards card tied to that specific visa card?
2. Can I combine the rewards cards by using them to purchase a single gift card from the disney store?
3. Any other brilliant ideas on how I can get that money into one spot? I don't want to be standing at the hotel desk using 5 different rewards cards to pay my balance!

You can use them all at the hotel desk - a lot of people do that. We get fuelperks for buying gift cards from our local grocery store, so we stocked up on $100 and $50 gift cards and got 20 cents off each gallon of gas for each $50 card. My sister filled up her 25 gallon tank twice on the rewards that she got for our trip. I had my Visa Rewards card with a large balance, so I only bought $200 in gift cards and I saved much less.

At check-in, we used the first batch of cards to get our park passes. Then, we charged all meals and purchases to our room. Before check-out, we stopped down to settle up with the rest of the gift cards. It worked out really easily.

Do you know if you buy gift cards with your Disney Visa, do you still get points for that purchase?

I e-mailed DisneyVisa Rewards and received the following in answer to my questions:

1. Is each rewards card tied to an individual Disney Visa? yes.
2. Or can we get one rewards card and load the points from both accounts onto one card? no.
3. Can our rewards cards be used to purchase gift cards at the DisneyStore? yes.
4. Can our rewards cards be combined to purchase one gift card at the DisneyStore? Disney Store can take multiple card payments on one transaction

Interesting, I thought you could not use Rewards cards to purchase gift cards at the Disney Store. Some people reported being able to purchase GCs using rewards cards online at disneyshopping.com but I still thought it wasn't technically allowed. Good to know it is!

Last fall I used two separate Disney Rewards cards (separate transactions) to buy Disney gift cards from http://www.disneystore.com/gift-cards/c/305800/ They give you the option to use your rewards card as a form of payment. You have to include a credit card also but it's only charged if your rewards card doesn't have enough on it to cover your purchase. They have the cutest cards there plus it's free shipping! When I did it, both cards came in about 10 days so I thought that was pretty fast!

So today I was at the Disney store and asked the manager about using my Disney Visa rewards cards to purchase a gift certificate and she said it can't be done. *sigh* Wish I could get ONE story that's consistent.

If the Disney Store tells you that, you should have them call their corporate offices to get the right information. It can be done.

I contacted DisneyRewards Visa again and received this e-mail from them today:

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. We do apologize for any confusion that may have occurred during your visit to the Disney Store in ________. We have contacted the manager on duty at this location, _______, and have arranged for you to be able to purchase the Disney Gift Card using multiple Disney Rewards Redemption Cards.
