Questions regarding booking last minute

Well. I own and book late. If I listen to the naysayers I would not own. That said there are things I realize. 1 I am probably not staying at an Epcot resort. 2. I may have to waist points. I often find a 1 bedroom easier to get late 3. I am flexible. I just stayed at the Courtyard because I could not get a unit. 4 I am patient. I often do not get the villa locked down until the last minute

But if you live close, you can do that more easily. If you live further away and have to manage your transportation issues, etc, it becomes a bit more difficult.

If you are that flexible and are willing to accept the risks, at least you know where you stand.

If you are spur of the moment vacationers maybe you would be better off renting points from a DVC member rather than buying them. It seems that there are many offerings on the rent/trade board.
