Questions regarding AP

We have decided to take 2 trips to WDW this year (June and Nov) and think buying the AP is best with DVC discount. Where do you purchase them and does your time start at purchase or when you first use it?? Any info is appreciated as we are very new to this.

You can purchase them on-line via the member website, by calling MS or at WDW.

If you purchase on-line or from MS, you will have the option to have an exchange voucher mailed to you or select will call. You will then have to go to a guest services location to get your actual AP. Your time begins when you exchange the voucher for the AP.

If you purchase at WDW, your time begins then.

Regardless of the purchase method, you will also need your membership card and photo ids for all adults showing the same address as the member.

We purchased ours at DHS guest service's took bout 5 minutes, very fast and that was during Star Wars weekend! CM asked for Pic ID and the WONDERFULL blue DVC ID card...

Thanks!! This is why I love these boards! Sounds like I probably have to go to guest services anyhow so might just go ahead and purchase once we arrive. Thanks again!
