Hello, I am new here although not new to Disney world, have been there dozens of times both my parents and grandpa and me have all worked at Disney World at some point in time. SO I am not a stranger to the World, HOWEVER...I am new to taking kids to Disney. We are taking my husbands two children (7 and 10) and our 9 month old daughter, and I am pregnant (will be about 3 months by the time we go). SO needless to say we have lots of things to consider. We are not staying on Disney property but are at the Disney downtown area. We are going to the coast to see the rocket launch at 4 pm Sunday the 20th then Monday MK, Tuesday Typhoon Lagoon and then Wednesday AK, then Thursday heading home. We are driving from NC stopping in Savannah on the way down. I know that staying at the resorts would have been the way to go and getting the free dining plan but we decided to do this trip kinda last minute and the free dining was already done for booking. The kids have never been to Disney and my husband has been one time back in 97. So here are my questions......

1.Strollers.... we are taking ours, easier than carrying the baby from the park to the car or bus, anyone have any tips on the best brand of stroller, the Eddie Bauer one we have does not sit up all the way and my little girl keeps sloughing down in the seat, very annoying to her I am sure.

2.Can baby's ride along on rides if in a carrier like the front carriers that they get strapped to you in. I was reading that anything that has no height restriction is fine for them, pirates, mansion? Shes very laid back and easy going and has no fear so I am not worried about that. And I cant ride all the fun stuff anyway (dang it) so I don't mind sitting out while my husband takes the kids on the rides that have a height restriction.

3. Can you leave the park in the afternoon and come back the same day if you don't have park hopper or anything but the base one day ticket? Like do they stamp your hand or give you a bracelet? I want the option if the baby needs to leave for a few hours cause of heat or needing a nap.

That's it for now I am sure these questions have been answered many times before so sorry for the repeat, I am just so excited about taking my daughter to Disney that I cant do anything but talk about it all the time!! Thanks!!

Ok first..we just bout a new stroller for my 8 month old..we just got a Chicco CT 0.5..its REALLY light, reclines, has a basket and came with a rain cover..and was only $89!!!
2..i believe the baby can go on anything without a restriction..most things they can stay in the carrier. We took all of our on everything they could go on...she even went on her first Safari in Feb..lol
3..Yes you can leave and come back..only to the same park though..i believe they will stamp your hand.
Take advantage of the baby care centers to get out of the heat..remember hats sunscreen and drink, drink, drink ALL OF YOU!!! LOL
What we do in the summer months is get up early get there at opening stay until lunch..go back to the resort and swim, nap whatever, then go back at dinner time. Its nice to get some downtime and get out of the heat and recharge for a bit.
Have fun..we will be down the same time..8/22-29
