Questions.......please help!

So we just returned from our stay at the Contemporary and loved it so much that we plan on returing next year. So I have a couple of questions about discounts.

1) I belong to AAA so what would be the discount for a deluxe resort?
2) I am heading to WDW in Jan and already have my ticket. Would it make sense to upgrade to an AP and what discount (if any does the contemporary) get?


TIA to all who respond. This is a trip I save up for every year but if possible would like to save a little on the room!

I'm not sure what the AAA discount is, but I don't think it's anywhere near the 35% Disney offers now and then for deluxe hotels. I also think that if you go to Disney twice within a year then it's probably to your advantage to get annual passes. Hop on the website and price it out.
