Questions on luggage...

We are making our own Plane reservations and transfer arrangements... now how do we handle our luggage?

I understand that we do not put our DCL tags on until we arrive at Port Canaveral... now... will we check our luggage in just like at the airport???

The other cruises that we have taken... we always used their transfers... but it was much more economical for our Family of 5 to get private transfers. Plus we are sharing a Van with friends (also a family of 5) so we will save a bit!

When you arrive to the port with your luggage - there will be porters there to help you unload it. Put your tags on your luggage at that time -- or shortly before and you will see your bags again in your stateroom by early evening. Remember to pack some clothing for dinner and even your bathing suits in your carryon.
