Questions on early breakfast at Chef Mickey's

We have a 7:20am Chef Mickey's reservation. If the parks open at 9am (I think MK might be 8am that day with EMHs), what time would the Monorail be running or does it ever even stop? We will have rental car, so driving to the Contemporary would be an option. The other thing I'm wondering is, if we do drive directly to the Contemporary, will we need to park at the TTC or somewhere like that after we're done with breakfast and head to the parks? We will be staying at Pop during this time.

TIA

The monorails usually start running around two hours before park opening, so if you parked at the TTC, and then took a very early monorail to CR, you sh**should** be OK. Then you can just forget about the car for the rest of the day!

Hi,
If you drive directly to the Contemporary they will give you a Visitor's Pass to put on your car which I believe is good for 3 hours. So, yes, if you drive to the Contemporary you will need to park at the TTC after your meal.

i thought the resort monorail starts at like 7:30 or something.

regardless, that's a meal i'd be taking a car to. either driving, or more preferably, cab.

Check with your hotel about early transportation. We stayed at pop in August and there were busses that started coming around about 6:30 for people with early ADR's. We too the early bus twice for early meals one at the poly and the other at MK and had no problems.

I would try tocall the dining number. We have a 8:00 ADR for Donalds and they were able to tell me the exact time that the AK parking lot will open on that day. I'm assuming that they can do the same about transportation.

Thanks everyone for the information. I've only ate at a resort restaurant, outside of the one I'm staying at once, which was this past April, when we ate breakfast before flying home at Ohana's. That time we drove to the Poly, and received the visitor 3-hour pass. But, I wasn't sure if it was different, as that time we were staying offsite. Guess that just means one more trip on one of my DS3's favorite rides, the Monorail, after we move the car to the TTC.
