Questions on Car rental, Car Seats & non resort Magical Express

Hi! I've never been to WDW, only DL so it's been quite an experience planning and reading up on this. We are staying at the Saratoga Springs Treehouses and plan to rent a van through Costco. Question #1 Do you know of any car rental companies that provide the booster seats at no extra charge?

We are planning to add two adults to the reservation once we get there. It's cheaper for them to get military tickets and don't need the dining plan we have on our reservation. Question 2 Can they ride the Magical express if they are not yet resort guests?

I believe all rentals companies charge for booster or car seats. I personally would just buy cheap ones to use.
To use magic express you have to be a registered resort guest. They can use it back to the airport but not from the airport to the resort unless you are getting there before them and can register them in the room and make their reservation.

OK, that's helpful thanks! So I can register them in the room without them there? What kind of information do I need on them to register them? And I give them the reservation confirmation # that was given to me when I made the original reservation?

Yes, you can add them when you get there...but do it when you check in, otherwise you might forget! If they aren't listed on the reservation, they will not be allowed on the bus! If, and that's a big if, something happens, and they can't get on the DME bus, they can just walk over to the Mears counter and get a ride thru them. It will be about $20 pp to the resort. They will probably even be sent to the DME buses! But as long as you get them on the reservation, they should be fine.

You just need their names I believe, and possibly their flight info. Yes, give them the reservation number for the resort stay.

Everyone on the room reservation has to be on the DDP. So the two people you add must be on the plan as well!

Not if you add them after you check in - as per the PP.

I have added my sister a few times when she arrived the next day and did not want/need the meal plan or tickets. We checked in and then later that day or the next day I just added her to our reservation, the CM made her DME reservations and she was good to go.
