Questions for those who have driven I95

Hello folks. Long time no see.

We are considering a different sort of trip, which only marginally involves Mickey. We would be driving and camping from Orlando to Washington DC. (One way RV rental.) So, the I95 route, roughly. We'd be taking our time, about a week, so we can stop for a couple of nights somewhere(s) interesting. Planning for March 2013, but we are in the early stages, so that may change.

Thought, experiences, recommendations?

If you belong to CAA, stop by your closest office and pick up some of their guidebooks. They're really great for site seeing tips, not just hotels and restaurants!

Good idea Minnie mum. I was thinking it'd be funto get a trptik so I could see the route in detail (instead of just zooming in on google maps!)

There's a great book that shows different sights, etc off of I95...

there is also one for kids, with interesting sights for them

Thanks Melmar, I ordered it from our library. They don't have the kids' version, I may order it if I like the first one.
