I thought I remembered the answer to these questions, but they slipped my mind....

We went in April of 2004 for our disneymoon, then in December for the Christmas decorations, well now we are going to fly down and see my dad on 10-25-05 to west palm beach airport :) , and then on my bday we are going to drive down very early to Orlando and spend 4 days. :goodvibes

Needless I love my :love2: :earsgirl: for her to agree to go again so soon. She knows what it means to me to go. And to go to our first ever MNSSHP will be even the best bday present I could ask for.

Now here are some questions...

1) Is the MNSHP work just like MMVMCP in terms of you can't get in until 4:00 pm and you can still book at LTT?

2) Do they move everyone to tomorrow land like they did at the CHristmas party?

3) Do they sell special "only halloween party pins" like they did at the Christmas party?

4) At the Christmas party you got free coco and cookies, do you get something along the same lines for the halloween party?

5) Can everyone dress up?

6) From those who have been this time of the year (October 28th which is a friday this year - Monday halloween) how are the crowds and the weather?

7) Now it looks like they are experimenting more with EMH. IS this just for the am? I thought I read something about night.

8) Generaly for this time of the year, what is hours of the parks?

Now question # 9 is a fun one...

If you had only 4 days and are only getting park tickets for 3 days, what would you do?

We were thinking that we would book a ps for chef mickey's for 10-28-05 for breakfast (remember you are driving down to ORlando from a 2 hour drive to spend 4 days with Mickey). We would goto our hotel first, POR and at least get our parking pass. Then go to Chef Mickeys, then to MK. Ride some rides and then take a break. Goto POR to check in and get settled into our room. Go back to MK for our ps at LTT and then the rest of the day at the halloween party. They close at Midnight, so afterwards go back to our resort.
Then on Saturday we were thinking MGM. YOu know I gotta ride TOT and RNR again. Eat at the sci Fi and do some more things and then get a Fantasmic dinner package for that night. Afterwards maybe DTD.

Then on Sunday go to Epcot to finish out the park days. The last day would be resort hop before heading to the air port that night.

Would you do anything different?

10) Are some or all of the resorts decked out in decorations for Halloween like at Christmas time?

Sorry for the long questions, but this trip just came up and I am very excited :cool1:

So far they allow the 4pm entry for MNSSHP. Also, the LTT has the characters dressed in Halloween costumes as well as the servers. This can be booked once the tickets go on sale. Some CM's may tell you they can't, just remind them you want to book for MNSSHP-- and they should do it for you.

At MNSSHP there are trick-or-treating stations set up throughout all of the MK-- and they give pretty good candy. So that's essentially your free treat. They also do the free pictures. There are also special T-shirts and pins for the event.

Essentially you won't find Halloween decorations anywhere but at MK for MNSSHP. The resorts and other parks don't seem to decorate.

Everyone can dress up, there are restrictions on things like weapons and such. Which are not allowed.

We did the 10/31 party in 2003 and the 10/1 party in 2004. They were both very humid and warm. So plan your costume accordingly. Both trips were pretty warm weathered. Well the 2004 one was downright HOT.

Usually Halloween night is a sell out. The 28th will have a good chance of selling out too-- being the last Friday before Halloween. So, expect heavier crowds, but it's still a really good time.

We are planning on going again this year-- I'm thinking a bit earlier in the month though.

4) You can go "trick-or-treating" around some areas.

5) Of course! ;)

6) Both are very good, it can get a little hot, but hey, it's Florida. We had no problems with crowds AT ALL. :)

10) I don't think that the resorts are (at least the Grand Floridian wasn't when we went) but the park gets very decorated and even the characters dress up!
